Balanced Bodies Lifestyle Clinic was founded 10 years ago and has grown to a well-established allied health clinic. We offer Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Remedial Massage Therapy & Dietetics services for chronic and complex health conditions, general health and wellbeing, pregnancy and post-natal, and injury rehabilitation.
Our clinic is spread across 4 locations: Cremorne, Darlinghurst, North Sydney & Northbridge. You will be working with a group of dedicated health professionals to deliver outstanding patient-centred care. ABOUT THE ROLE
Your role will be based at our Darlinghurst (Oncology Specific) & Cremorne Locations.
We provide a variety of Exercise Physiology services from individual consults to group classes to education programs. We see a range of clients for chronic disease management, diabetes management, exercise oncology programs, women’s health, mental health, musculoskeletal rehab, chronic pain, Fatigue syndromes & invisible illnesses.
Your day to day tasks will involve:
Individual Exercise Physiology assessments, programming, health coaching and exercise sessions. As well as being competent in reporting back to referring health practitioners and keeping your client notes of a high standard and up to date.
Designing, leading and managing group exercise programs for a variety of groups and ages.
Involvement in client and team education sessions.
Networking with GPs, specialists and other Allied Health Professionals.
Some admin and marketing tasks when needed.

University qualified and ESSA Accredited Exercise Physiologist.
2-3 years of experience as an AEP (new grads may be considered). Minimum 1 year oncology experience as part of this.
Must be able to get Medicare Provider Number.
WorkCover Provider Number useful, but not essential.
Up to date CPR and First Aid.
Must have your own car as you may need to do home visits.
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team.
Interest in oncology, chronic disease management, women’s health and musculoskeletal rehab and an ability to think outside the box and problem solve.
Must be available to work early mornings, evenings and Saturday mornings. Shifts may vary either from an early start (6/7am)- early finish or later start – late finish (7/8pm).
Desirable Qualities (not essential):
An interest or willingness to learn about Exercise Oncology, Parkinson’s Disease, Women's Health and Chronic pain
Experience teaching and leading group fitness classes
