Why is exercise important?

Exercise is a part of healthy living for everybody. However, for people living with Parkinson’s exercise should not be optional but essential.

Exercise has been shown to slow the progression of symptoms, especially if introduced in the early stages of diagnosis as it enhances the neuroplasticity of the brain.
